Choir
Hickman Charter School is committed to providing children with one of the finest music education experiences in the state.
Since we meet only once each week, each child will be provided with a practice tape and workbook, and music to practice at home. They will have a lot of fun singing and learning at home. A student who has finished all eight levels of music at Hickman will be leaving with a music education on the level of a second year college music student.
- Children’s Chorus is broken into sections based on grade level: kindergardeners, 1st-2nd graders, and 3rd-8th graders.
- Students who have completed the necessary prerequisites are eligible to participate in the Honor Choir. Honor Choir students present several programs each year. Most recently they performed “The Sound of Music.” On alternate years, the Honor Choir has traveled to Disneyland to perform at the magical kingdom!
